This application, if it is specialised in DV video Capture, should have a mode, to log the whole tape, making a list of the desired parts (clips) of the tape, and then batchprocessing the tape (a feature which has final cut pro and other good video programms)
Using to capture video from VHS - Version: 2.0, 2/23/2007 10:13AM PST

I have tried to use iMovie to capture video via Canopus ADVC-55, but some old tapes are skipping a lot and cutting out in iMovie.
I have read that some video capture apps allow users to turn off a setting so bad footage, dropped frames, etc. are allowed to be captured, rather than dropped, as iMovie is doing. Can CatDV handle this situation?
Thanks!
