Barquee ReviewNice... if it worked. - Version: 1.2, 2/4/2007 03:04AM PST

Barquee looks like everything I need and want in an Itunes controller... unfortunately it doesnt work, the Track Ticker just doesnt change when the song does. I really do like the look and feel of the product and I'll be keeping track of any development, the app has a lot of promise.

With that said, fortunately, after an entire day of searching, I found an alternative that works flawlessly! Its an unknown Japanese developed app (Translated to English) thats not on VT. The link to the site is "http://homepage.mac.com/kenta6/kTunes/" (You can translate the site in google) and the direct download link is "http://homepage.mac.com/kenta6/kTunes/kTunes-1.4.3.zip"

Trust me, this is an awesome, AND FREE! App that does everything I want. I couldnt be happier!

Barquee ReviewNice Product but a Shonky Developer - Version: 1.2, 8/21/2006 04:10AM PST

I use this application and it does what it says it does, so why would I not recommend it? Because there is no such thing as support. Sure, I spend more than $10 Bucks when I go to the movie but when someone promises support, I expect it. I first PAID for this product in April of 2005 - worked flawlessly. As I said, it does what they say it will do and better, IMHO, then the others on the "market". BUT I needed to do a reinstall and not only did it not recognize my "old" registration but it told me that after 200 hundred songs I needed to pay for it AGAIN!!!! When I sent an email to "support" (cough) it was returned - Quote: "Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. : Sorry, I wasn't able to establish an SMTP connection. (#4.4.1) I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long." Use at your risk - my pappy used to tell me on the farm - "don't buy any ole software where the guys ain't home. Them's are just shonky" PS: Shonky is an Aussie word for dubious, underhanded. E.g. a shonky practice, shonky business etc.
