Product Description:

Magic Pen is an application that allows you to draw on top of your screen (with your mouse, not a "real" pen silly!), much like overhead pens allow you to write on top of an overhead. Magic Pen works on a pad system - you start with one pad as soon as you open it up. You can clear your current pad from the menu, or start a new pad from the menu. You can make as many pads as you like and move between them at will. Each pad also support infinite undo and redo. When you're done drawing on the pad, you can switch Magic Pen to inactive mode, allowing your clicks to go through the pad instead of onto the pad, and hence allowing you to continue with your presentation as proper. The next time you activate Magic Pen (through the Dock, for example), you'll be able to draw on your pad again. Your drawing pen can be customized to have different line widths and color. If you've created a work of art and would like to print your pad (just your drawing, not the stuff behind it), you can do that to (landscape looks the best).

Magic Pen ReviewPhenomenal !!!!! Use As A Golf Swing Analyzer !!!! - Version: 1.0, 7/23/2005 03:59PM PST

I am a professional golfer. I have been trying to find a way to make Windows compatible golf swing analyzer software (including firewire video input) work on my powerbook G4 using Virtual PC to no avail. All that I needed to do was to be able to capture live video of my swing on the course and draw a few lines on it so that I could check my head position, swing plane, etc. However, the VPC option didn't work, was a pain in the butt to use, and was sloooooooow when I went the long route of importing video into the application.
<br><br>
**Blink** Then a light came on ... use Apple's iMovie which allows live capture and is VERY easy to use on the course and some type of software that allows me to draw on the screen. Magic Pen works PERFECTLY and allows me to draw my lines over my swing video on the fly, thus allowing me to check my positions and make adjustments during range practice. THE PERFECT SOLUTION ... and sooooo easy!
<br><br>
The only addition that I would suggest for my use of the software is the ability to draw perfectly straight lines in addition to free hand lines.
