Disk Base ReviewUseful organizing tool - Version: 1.2.6, 8/20/2007 01:00AM PST

Disk Base 1.2.6. is a perfectly simple, reliable and useful organizing tool. From what I've read from reviews of previous versions, it as improved a lot, as it is now completely intuitive and straight forward to use.

It lets you create a database of all the storage media (cd, dvd, zip disc, anything) you have. It is not an automatic process, You have to manually insert the info you want: Label (what's written in the label), Type and Storage media (is it a software cd, a backup in a zip disc, a pictures dvd?). It then lets you add a description and comments.

Simple and old school, but works.

This piece of software is useless! One review said that it lacked instructions in the read me and insulted his intelligence. I agree completely. Maybe the software's author understands how it works because he made it, but short of some decent instructions and basic features - well it sucks.

I'll stick with Disktracker.

Disk Base ReviewThe program works well. - Version: 1.2, 8/22/2005 10:58PM PST

I would like to see some improvements:
- scroll bar in the details field;
- search also in the details field;
- a field to put an image (CD cover or something else in order to make it easy to find the disc);
- portuguese localization.

Thanks for making it free! :)
