Isn't it so that utilities like Anacron and PseudoAnacron are not needed anymore in Leopard because in Leopard launchd will run skipped jobs?

For someone like me, who logs out or shuts down his Mac regularly, this is a very useful utility. It is easy to use (install it, add it to the login items, and forget it), it does not need installations in system folders or modifications of system files, and it works as advertised.
Not sure what the point of this app is - Version: 1.4.1, 6/30/2005 09:15PM PST

Many people, myself included, don't generally log out of their Macs for weeks at a time - when you aren't using it, just put it to sleep. This application's approach basically would be useless for us.
The real anacron runs as a periodic cron job. It's not sitting there "wasting cycles" either. The advantage to anacron is it'll actually get those periodic tasks done regardless of whether you've logged in recently or not.
