In my hands, the plug-in works great for mpg, avi but mov. mov music videos play without sound. Switching the plug-in to quicktime or corevideo restores the sound.
worth trying

The xine engine gives in my subjective opinion a superior picture to quicktime, and it can play a lot more formats, although it uses more cpu. (you have to set the xine plugin above quicktime in the prefs for it to take over from quicktime)
1) Give me the option to *not* autoplay DVD's when inserted while xine is running. When autoplaying via any other application xine will cause your DVD player to thrash trying to play in both players at once (particularly bad when in FrontRow and you can't exit)
2) When in full screen on one monitor how about letting me interact with applications on a different monitor. Keyboard won't pass through, and only some mouse functions work.
3) And most important: UNIVERSAL BINARY! I've been waiting for someone to make a binary build of xine as a UB for more than a year now. *Please*!
