Product Description:

K3DSurf - is a program which generate 3D surfaces with mathematical formulas (Implicit or Explicit equations) with possibility of animation and morph effects. It's also a "Modeler" for PovRay in the area of parametric surface (additionally export to VRML2 is possible).

What's new in this version:

Version 0.6:

Add support of isosurfaces (ie: f(x,y,z) = 0)
Isosurface Mesh file export for PovRay.

1) Integration of an OpenGL based viewer. It supports all controls for "Parametric" and "Isosurface" pages and can be used as an independent window in full screen mode. To use the old 2D viewer, you have only to click the green button (at the bottom).
2) Implementation of the Isosurface morph effect : Use the example "Blob_Morph" located at the end of the examples list, in the "Isosurface" page , to test this kind of animation.
3) "Tools" page now use the OpenGL viewer for real time manipulation and generation of the mathematical models (v0.6.1).
4) Conditional drawing for Isosurfaces with the OpenGL viewer (v0.6.1).
5) Grid max for Isosurfaces now is 60x60x60 (before it was 30x30x30) and the maximum number of polygons is now 99.000( before it was 9900) (v0.6.1).
6) A new independant component named "Control Center" to control the drawing for Iso/Parametric surfaces without having to switch between pages (look at "Options" page) (v0.6.1).
7) Infos in the OpenGL window; Bug fix and new examples for Isosurfaces (v0.6.1).
8) This package dont need additional requirements.

Won't run - Version: 0.6.1, 12/10/2006 03:02PM PST

Description looks intriguing, but won't run -- double-click, icon animates a little, then.... nothing.

Quad-core PPC, OS 10.4.8

PS: Did the same thing on my MacBook Pro, but I notice you don't list Intel above for 10.4
