Almost Too Good To Be True

It is rare to encounter a product that not only lives up to its billing but easily surpasses it. ClickRepair is just such a product. I hunted the internet to find LPs I listened to as a child growing up in Bermuda. I located and purchased them. Most were in pretty good condition, however, even the best LPs from the 50s have their share of ticks and pops. Another quick internet search revealed ClickRepair. I downloaded it and used it within minutes. The results were AMAZING. I am still stunned at the phenomenal job ClickRepair did. I am even more surprised it did so without killing off the audio quality of the recordings. I am deeply indebted to the developer. This is an application that is easily worth its price. I would strongly recommend it!

Excellent in many ways for what it does - taking clicks & noise out of digital rips of 12" LP's.
Default settings work well for simple de-clicking - it's very rare I've had to hand edit anything once ClickRepair has been run over a file.
Interface makes the job easy for non-professionals - and the manual makes tweeking the settings for more difficult jobs a breeze.

I was able to quickly de-click a stereo WAV file with this software. The interface is a little clunky, and there seems to be no way to audition the process in real time, but everything worked smoothly. I did have a problem playing the file back after it was processed. Had to import it into Audacity to listen. Also, stereo files must be interleaved but this is not in the documentation.
Nevertheless, it worked well and I was glad to find it.
This was used on a 17" Macbook Pro 2.4ghz running OS 10.4.11
