MacPOSX hasn't been available for the low, low price of $129.00 for quite some time -- current price: $239.00. It's still the best POS program for the Mac, but a 185% price increase should at least be noted.

I used the OS 9 version of this program for 2 1/2 years, and have been using the OSX version for about 3 months now.
I can not say enough great things about it: Highly Customizable, Stability and Tech Support that is outstanding.
If one takes the time to look at the on-line tutorials, you will find that you can customize this software to suite you own tastes, in everything from item details to window color.
I can unplug the computer from the mains while this program is running and it recovers elegantly without issue.
I have emailed Tech Support at four in the morning and received a reply by seven. No question, no matter how newbie-stupid, goes unanswered.
If you are running a small business, this is the inventory and point-of-sales program you are looking for, at considerably less money than other programs on the market.

I'm frustrated enough with MYOB ($300+150 for additional workstations) that I'm considering other options, but with this being just about the only other option, having to dish out triple the cost of MYOB makes the cost of entry a bit steep. The $600 to run credit cards seems usurious since there's virtually no other options for doing it, especially when companies will often furnish credit card machines at no cost with a contract.
