...to install Tomcat. Its simple and is up and running immediately. I had some problems with SISU's version 3.0 not starting up properly, but that is fixed in this version. The one flaw in this release is being able to start and stop Tomcat without rebooting--the management application will shut down Tomcat, but won't restart it--I need to reboot the machine to get Tomcat started again. Overall its a great package for my light jsp experimentation.

There's other ways to install Tomcat on a Mac, but this is pretty painless, especially if you just need the cat to check out another package, like e.g., blojsom. It's possible to get this up and running without even looking at the docs, just keep track of the AppleScript start and stop scripts.
