Product Description:
The Word Counter Widget is a Dashboard Widget for Macintosh OS X. It provides word counts and character counts and can also count the number of instances of a specified word or phrase. It has several customizable options, including:
- Counting all words or only words above a specified length
- Counting all characters or all characters without spaces
- Counting hyphenated words as a single word or as separate words
- Counting text instances in a case-sensitive or case-insensitive manner
What's new in this version:
- Added a button to clear all contents
- Minor interface enhancements

I haven't used this long, but so far it seems to work as advertised. I'm a bit surprised that it has over 900 downloads with not a single rating. So I'm jumping the gun a bit and giving it a good rating. If, after some period of use, I discover problems with it, I'll come back and post again.
