Product Description:

MagicEngine is a PC-Engine (TurboGrafx-16) console emulator: the famous console made by NEC back in '87... It was a nice little machine, with great graphic capacities, and a fast and powerful 8-bit microprocessor. It also had a very good game collection, with high quality games, and even today some PC-Engine games are still without an equivalent on modern consoles. Of course if 3-D games are your cup of tea, well, the PC-Engine may disappoint you a bit, but if you love good old 2-D games, especially shoot'em up, give it a try, it really has some excellent games!

What's new in this version:

fixed graphics glitches in Fantazy Zone and Wonder Momo
fixed Exile (US) game :)
fixed a little bug in the save state code
fixed a bug in the Arcade Card emulation, now all the AC games works :)

The interface does seem based on DOS. BUT there IS CD support in OS 9.x Install a copy of Apple CD/DVD Driver 1.3.9 and it works fine.

of the PC Engine; easily the best compatibility with HuCards of any PC Engine out there. This in itself is deserving of five stars. However, CD support does not work under OS 9 or OS X, and the interface is reminiscent of something from DOS.

made a mistake somewhere, but this program is NOT OS X native. It is a Classic app.
