Product Description:

Time Splitter (Audio) is a time code solution designed for professionals involved in audio transcription.Originally developed for the UK's leading forensic laboratory, Time Splitter (Audio) allows an audio file to be rapidly split into time seperated files using custom times, markers or silence detection. When the seperated files are burned to a CD, the resulting CD tracks allow the user to instantly access a particular unit of time or track within the audio file. Compatible sound files include AIFF, WAV and SD2. The files are almost instantly exported to Quicktime AIFF or WAV file format for universal access and easy audio CD burning.

Time Splitter is a dedicated and quick audio file divider that will chop your audio into evenly timed segments. Drag any sound file onto the interface and press the “MAKE” button and you have your now evenly divided audio exported into a folder. The folder is named after the original file plus “Split” etc. which makes managing the exported audio easy. You can then drag the whole folder onto Toast and hay presto! The defaults are configurable and you can change export names and segment lengths to your needs.

When I heard about Time Splitter I thought it might save me a fair amount of time, so I downloaded the demo straight away and realised I was dealing with a professional and support-minded company.
We purchased 7 licences for the department and since then Time Splitter has saved hundreds of man-hours and made our final product reliable and professional.
Time Splitters interface is a dream to use and the defaults can be configured for individual needs. Time Splitter is quick, easy to use and has not caused any problems. Time splitter has been the perfect solution to a VERY time consuming Job.
For such a professional tool, the licence is actually great value, and the product does what it says on the tin. For us the saving in man-hours and improved productivity means that Time Splitter paid for itself in the first week, and unlike some cheaper programs, Time Splitter is not trying to be a Swiss army audio solution so does not suffer from “Jack of all trades” problems and frustrations.
In fact when we sent feedback to Coracle regarding the original interface, they asked us what we needed exactly and they redesigned it, and released version 1.0.1 with our suggestions in mind! That’s what I call Support!
Well worth it.
