Product Description:

For several years, there's been a major hole in our iLives; integration of our Entourage Contacts, Tasks and Calendar with OS X, and being able to sync with portable devices. Now that's all changed thanks to e2Sync. e2Sync plugs into OS X Tiger's iSync to bring us the connectivity we've been needing and system-level integration with OS X's technologies. You already use the best Email and PIM for the Mac, so you know how frustrating it is to have such tight integration between your email, contacts, notes and tasks and calendar items, and yet not have the ability to share all this with iCal, AddressBook, Spotlight search, your mobile phone, iPod or PDA. Well now you can - e2Sync lets you take Entourage with you with the power to customize and manage what gets synced and when.

What's new in this version:

  • Updated for Intel Macs (Universal Binary).
  • Improved sync engine.
  • Added Database selector.
  • Added missing time zones.
  • Fixed growing memory usage for users with over 2500 contacts.
  • Fixed hang during sync.
  • Fixed several stability issues.
  • Better threading.
  • Several optimizations.
  • 400% faster on Intel machines.
  • VersionTracker readers get 30% discount using coupon "TASIB06".

e2Sync Tiger ReviewWARNING:: do NOT purchase.. - Version: 2.8, 11/2/2009 06:50AM PST

I purchased 2 licenses quite a while ago for my wife and my laptop, and my desktop. We had Tiger, but upgraded to Snow Leopard when it came out. We read their entire website and it stated they were working on a leopard version, so my belief was that it would be done in a reasonable amount of time. I purchased at that moment because their site stated that upgrades were free at that moment for anyone purchasing and that they were running a special. Little did I know that they NEVER update their web site and that they are 1) Always running the special. 2) Upgrades seem to be free because they are never planning on doing one. Why do I believe they are never planning an upgrade? Because in the last 6+ months, I have contacted them via their online support page (I could not find any phone support like they state they have), on at least four separate occasions, and have NEVER a single time ever received an email response from anyone there. I don't think they even look at their email. Their customer support is NON-EXISTANT. I have never been able to get the product to work properly. Now, that I am on Snow Leopard, I guess I shouldn't expect it to, but I doubt I will ever see an upgrade or fix for any of their bugs. Take a screen shot of their web page and compare it over the next year. I am sure it will be the same from month to month.

Please, do not waste your money on this product. I don't have any suggestions as to what would be better, but not spending money on a product that doesn't do anything for you, has got to be better.

e2Sync Tiger Reviewe2sync is a waste of money and redundant - Version: 2.8, 3/15/2008 01:19AM PST

e2sync is totally unnecessary to me and I imagine the vast majority of people. I don't need to sync specific categories and from what I've observed it's giving me the exact same results as I was getting before I bought it, just syncing Entourage with .Mac/Address Book/iCal and my iPhone using the built-in Entourage sync functions in tandem with iSync. What I'm really looking for is a way to get my Tasks and Notes in Entourage to show up on my iPhone and this doesn't do that. It's clear that I would need a 3rd party app on the iPhone that could even make such a thing possible and so far I haven't found that! I had a Treo 650 before the iPhone and the e2sync wasn't necessary for that either. For most I would say e2sync is redundant and a waste of money since Entourage and OS X already come with a working sync.
