...but Spotlight finds my WordPerfect documents without this tool. Don't ask me why. Since they are already marked as files to be opened with NeoOffice/J, it might be possible that Spotlight regards them as OpenOffice documents.
I guess what you should do then is get OpenOffice or NeoOffice/ and you will be fine!

… making Spotlight available to the WP user base. Most of my long text documents are in WP and this is a real help.
BTW the Importer was written by Gero Herrman, who also wrote WP DocCompare, a version-tracking utility which outperforms most such utilities.
