Currency Converter ReviewDoes Just What It Claims - Version: 0.9, 3/8/2008 11:47AM PST

Using version 0.9 after having the 0.2 version installed for a long time, I found it faster, better-looking, and just as easy to use. I don't have frequent need of the converter, so I can just load the widget for those times and then park it in the widgets selection area between uses. It's solid, simple, and more full-featured than ever. I can't see why you wouldn't want to add it to your widget arsenal.

Currency Converter Troubleshooting ReportDoesn't Work With Amnesty On G5 iMac/10.4.8... - Version: 0.5.1, 1/25/2007 12:48PM PST

Mr.Mojo
0.3.1 works just fine... After opening 0.5.1 the window appears but no currency fields are visible.

I only use Widgets combined with Amnesty so this may be an incompatibility between the two...

in the past, i've always been a bit disparaging about widgets which do things already built into the OS. however, since apple's recent OSX updates have knackered the currency converter built into calculator.app - all of a sudden "Currency Converter" starts to look like a useful thing to have.

maybe i'll give it a go after all!
