Docktop CommentaryNot Snow Leopard Compatible - Version: 1.3, 9/24/2009 10:36AM PST

mrmkirsch
This version of Docktop is NOT compatible with Snow Leopard.

After inquiring about an update, the developer responded that they'll get around to it "eventually," but it isn't any kind of top priority. Understandable for a $6 app, but it leaves paid customers in a lurch.

Don't buy this app until it has been updated.

Love it, great application but it needs two more features that I need are:
color background of the docktop and it needs to let us know of which application, files or folders are open or close.

Great little application that work wonderful on a MacBook too. While not particularly faster then quicksilver, it is nice looking and great for showing windoze users :)

Very clean interface, nifty launcher, lots of features, absolutely customizable, and features in 1.1 are groovy.
I've been a beta tester and the author is very responsive. He accepts any kind of feedback and suggestions to improve his products, that is because they are solid rocks.

I've used Docktop from the beginning, and think is one of the best launchers out there.. If there was a problem or idea I had about features or anything, I'd drop a line to the developer, and BAM!!! he sent me a new copy with everything added.
Really great to be able to make suggestions and have them come to life. Apple should try this approach..

I have downloaded Docktop and it look like a nice bit of software, but it really needs to have 'drag & drop' functionality.

It would be much more useful if you could drag a file onto the icons as a shortcut to open the file with a particular application.

If this functionality can be added to Docktop, then i would be happy to pay for it.
