Product Description:

Use Shrink to shrink long a URL to a shorter one. Shrink uses TinyURL.com and the links are permanent. Type inn a long address and press Enter, wait while your link is generated; it will automaticaly be copied when it's ready. That means that you'll just have to start the Widget and past the link where you want it seconds later.

one way this is better than the javascript-bookmark (as listed below, which is great, i use it on regular webpages) is that is works on non-html files (such as pdf's and the like...)

If drag your URL, presses f12 (while dragging) and drops it onto the wigdet, you get it shrunken, and copied to your clipboard..

Good idea... though not sure I would want to go to Dashboard every time I wanted a tinyurl. Still, good to have options on how to do something - and since your product is free, it certainly is well worth the price. :)

You can do much the same by creating a bookmark with this rather long and annoying URL (works in Safari, at least):
