Troubleshooting (taken from web site):

  • First thing to do is reboot your machine as Dashboard has problems that appear after extended periods of time.
  • If hyper-linking stops working simply press R to refresh the current screen.
  • If the widget does not respond to key presses, click on it.

... it doesn't appear to work. Clicking on the page numbers as suggested in the instructions doesn't do anything.

Brilliant! Installed in a few seconds, worked perfectly first time, extremely useful. Saves ages in patiently waiting for the television to scroll to the Ceefax page you want! Just shows what can be done with Dashboard!
An excellent program - well done all concerned!

...for me at least. when i popen the widget, i get a blank black screen with the seefax logo at the top... nothing ever happens.
Also, when i click the 'i' and turn the widget over to adjust it's prefs, i cannot find a button to turn it back over again.

Version 0.9 is a huge improvement over yesterday's 0.2.
The addition of the J(ump) and the arrow keys help. I still have a problem with clicking on page numbers after the first time.

The addition of the extra BBC channel also helps, is it possible to include ITV teletext?

Thanks for continuing to improve this widget, it's one of the most useful out there.

Now that we have the option of hitting 'J' and skipping straight to a page, how about adding a 'Show page no. X at startup' preference so that our favourite page is displayed upon launch?

The one issue that I'm still experiencing is that sometimes when clicking on page numbers nothing happens.

The page is static - it may aas well be a jpeg of a ceefax page!

Rewritten 0.2 release should fix most problems. Bug reports still being accepted, new features once problems disappear.

I got the empty black box. Restarting the system fixed that. It's great to see Ceefax but navigation seems a bit patchy. For example, if I go from the front page, to films on page 540, there are no links to anywhere on page 540. I have to quit and restart the widget to get back to page 100.

And why does it state that the date is 23 Mai - why French?
