Cool application if it works like DeskTop Resetter.
OK, I am downloading your Desktop Wrap and will give a test drive in TIGER.
At this time I recommend the application.
Any chance 4 a PANTHER version?

You have to enable GUI scripting. You can do it with the Applescript Utility in the Applescript folder of your Applications folder, or you can do it in the Universal Access Preference Pane (Enable Access for Assistive Devices).
I failed to handle that requirement for this version. I'll fix that in the next.

I get the following error:The variable screensize is not defined. (-2753) every time I try to "Set Icon Position Now" on an iMac G5 1 GB ram 1.8 MHz (stock machine, not modified) OS X 10.4.2.
Always gives an error, sadly. - Version: 1.2, 7/20/2005 01:43PM PST

Choose the settings, click "Set Icon Position Now" and regardless of what settings you choose, it always reports the following Applescript error -
"The variable screensize is not defined. (-2753)"
"The variable screensize is not defined. (-2753)"

If you like your desktop "just so" (translation: you're anal), then this application will make your day.
I hope the application eventually lets you set the icon size on the desktop.

Version 1.1 gives an applescript error when saving the desktop icon positions. Version 1.0 continues to work without difficulty.

Handle little tool - thanks for making it available to everyone as freeware.
Permission Denied
followed by an applescript error which says it can't make an alias (error -1700)
I've rebuilt, cocktailed, re-permissioned, etc.
I think it's DW, not me... but I'm open to suggestions. I'd love to see this do what it says it does!
