Just trying demo, looks like a great application and incredibly well thought out in the design. Just one note about calendar/appointments: I think it would be a lot better if the calendar appointments lets you link the client to whom you are having a meeting with so you could easily look up their details, instead of only allowing internal staff to be linked.
Too bad it's filemaker junk. - Version: 2.01.04, 11/19/2007 04:23PM PST

Filemaker is just junk. This would be a decent app if it weren't dependent upon Filemaker.
Great business tracking software

I have been using this program for about six months and continue to be impressed with its functuality and elegance. I did a lot of research to find a program that would allow me to track my projects and create invoices. Most of the software I reviewed had limited features and was downright ugly. As a designer I wanted a program that filled my needs and was a pleasure to use.
I eventually upgraded to the developers version and although I know almost nothing about FileMaker I have been able to customize the program to better suit my needs.
I would highly recommend downloading the demo version and take a thorough look at the program.

FikeMaker Pro 9, $299
FileMaker Adv, $499
FileMaker Server, $999
The program requires FileMaker 8
Upgrades to FM 9, $119-$599
Might as well add this cost to using the program if you're starting out.
I have nothing against the use of FileMaker ... I use it for our design database (custom), but we're still using FileMaker 7 ... works fine for us.
I'm all for new solutions ... I just think it needs to be CLEAR what the program requires and that additional software is needed ... and it's not cheap.
