I have to agree with macosaddict, this software functions adequately but has a poorly designed interface. Developers should adopt Mac OS GUI guidelines rather than attempting to design their own. 'Transmit' would be my preffered reccomendation.
Very Good FTP Client

If you want a no nonsense ftp client the try Glub Tech Secure FTP. I find the UI (user interface) clean and simple to use. Yes there are many ftp clients to choose from but I like Glub Tech Secure FTP because is does what I need and it does it well, ftp. In my opinion this program doesn’t suffer from bloat. The noncommercial use *free* license is nice too.
My only (minor) issue I wish it had pop-up tips when mousing-over the icons. I was trying to use the ab icon as the CLI tool. I now realize ab icon is rename. A built-in text editor or program linking to an editor would be a nice touch for those quick edits.

You should try one of the better alternatives. Transmit, Yummy FTP, Captain FTP, etc. These are true Mac applications and they have plenty of useful features. This app has no advanced features other than basic upload/download and the user interface looks like a windows app - and a bad one at that. As for the price - free for non-commercial use is a good thing, but I'd pick Cyberduck over this any day. For commercial use, $40 is way too expensive for what is offered.

You should not listen to all the complaints about the interface. Try it and I think you will agree it is great for the non-commercial price of free. Cyberduck comes in second and is also free. Panic is not free.
