What's new in this version:
- Great Looking Templates
We've added a bunch of new and great looking Estimate and Invoice templates. You can customize them entirely by creating your own or you can quickly customize the built in ones with things such which columns show, the font etc... You can also choose any image type for your logo - you are no longer limited to some obscure version of the JPEG format. - Menu Bar Timer
We've added this great little menu bar item. It shows your current timer with the current accumulated time. You can start, stop and create new timers from the attached menu. Our floating timers window was convenient and still is - but this is even more convenient. You can option-click the start/pause button to instantly create a new slip. - New Tax System
You can now have unlimited taxes. You can also order them and choose whether you want to display them in the estimates/invoices. We've also included over 100 tax presets that you can choose from. You can modify those and save out the preset and share it with others. While in an estimate or invoice slip, you select the tax from a popup - it couldn't be easier. The new system should help people with VAT considerably. We also added 'Tax Point' to support VAT requirements. - Totally New Report Engine
We've brought over the report engine that is in Daylite 3 and made some improvements. You will now be able to create your own reports, estimates, invoices, label, label sheet and envelopes. (We still have a bit of work in this area - including adding some canned reports). You will now be able to handle high resolution images (vector or bitmap). - Invoice and Estimate Number Generation
We now have invoice and estimate number generation. You can define a custom prefix such as 2006 or you can use %date% which will give you 20061019 (Oct 16, 2006). You can also break up the date using %Y% for the year only, %m% for month and %d% for day or a combo thereof. You can start the numbering at any number in the postfix. - Slip Templates
You can define slip templates for those commonly estimated or invoiced things. Choose or open any slip card and make a template from it. - Improved Apple Help

I rarely if ever write feedback for things I find on versiontracker, but I must say that I disagree with most of the reviews posted here.
I was previously using a different shareware solution for my invoicing needs, but I found it lacking.
I had looked at Billings in earlier versions, but wasn't happy.
3.0.3 finally convinced me to switch.
The interface is straightforward and intuitive, and the learning curve is pretty easy.
There are some features I wish were different — users are right that the invoice template creation is totally undocumented, and a little clunky. But once you play around with it for a while, it's fairly simple.
I also wish that the reports it generates would be live, "spreadsheet" reports — that you can sort etc — but alas, the reports you generate are only static PDFs.
I've also not had the crashes others speak of — the apps been quite stable.
But overall, I would recommend this app and it does what I need.
