Tiger comes with the Stickies widget, which is pretty good. However, your Dashboard desktop can soon become cluttered if you have several active Stickies - especially since there are so many great widgets out there that just need to be on your desktop.

Enter Notepad Widget...
  • Notepad widget allows you to have all your notes on one widget, if you so wish.
  • You can have multiple Notepad widgets on your dashboard for different categories, for example, Home and Work.

Great additions to this build and I like the new features and style. Now for a question. It appears that I should be able to specify hex colours for the background but they don't take. Is this a feature that is 'coming soon'?

I've used this widget for a couple of days and find it very helpful. If you'd like to keep notes for a quick reference (e.g.. telephone numbers, critical dates), it's ideal. The developer responded to questions within an hour.

Notepad Widget Troubleshooting ReportNot Saving Note Information - Version: 1.0pre1, 5/24/2005 01:46PM PST

Notepad is not saving the notes I create, even after I click the save button.

This only happens if I turn the widget off and then load it back up. If I shut down the computer or restart while the widget is active, it will keep the notes, but not when I relaunch it.
