myNotes Review5 Stars - Version: 1.4.12, 11/24/2008 03:02AM PST

You need to buy a licence in order to enter more than 5 fields. This is Software is easy to use and elegant in it's format. It works as an Address Book, I liked it.

myNotes ReviewContinues to be a fine, simple, very useful application - Version: 1.4.10, 12/7/2007 11:20AM PST

A year ago I wrote that:
"I purchased myNotes almost as a kind of stop-gap rather than to be anything significant. But its convenience for note taking and snippet storing (including BIG snippets) has been terrific, as has its ability to handle RTFD nicely. . . Overall, then, a small program that does what it says it will and does it quite well."

All that continues to be true; I wouldn't be without myNotes.

myNotes ReviewNice and quick - Version: 1.4.10, 12/6/2007 01:47PM PST

What matters to me most in a note application is how quickly and easily I can get my notes in front of me to start entering text or viewing my existing notes.
myNotes has it all. Perfect interface with a 3 pane view to easily see all my notes. I invoke a hot key or use the services menu and bam, I'm editing. Very simple but enough features to make it a state of the art cocoa app that is fast.

The myNotes.dmg file takes a very long time (15 minutes on DSL) and arrives corrupted and won't mount.

myNotes ReviewReally powerful ! - Version: 1.2.3, 7/31/2006 04:56AM PST

This is a powerful software ! It does what you want : I use it to write my ideas and things to do. I write them in different groups and different notes that I can sort manually as I want. There is also Spotlight integration. Before I used Post-it software integrated with Mac OsX but I wasn't sufficient for my needs ! A must have !

myNotes ReviewWeirdness! - Version: 1.2.2, 7/26/2006 01:39PM PST

Downloaded it today as it looked very promising. However, with OS 10.4.7 on my Powerbook G4, it is buggy and unuseable. Group and Note titles disappear or change to white intermittently. Search function works only sometimes.

Mystified!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased myNotes almost as a kind of stop-gap rather than to be anything significant. But its convenience for note taking and snippet storing (including BIG snippets) has been terrific, as has its ability to handle RTFD nicely. To my own surprise, I've abandoned iClip, which is itself pretty handy, in favor of myNotes. Overall, then, a small program that does what it says it will and does it quite well.

Truckstopboy's one-star rating is so far off the mark — apparently a comment on his irritation rather than on the software — that I wanted to add this review

myNotes Reviewthanks for the warning... - Version: 1.0e, 9/4/2005 11:36AM PST

a warning that the old version was just going to lock me out of my data would have been really nice, I was out with no internet connection to be able to download the newer version. I liked mynotes a lot but that's just a really inconsiderate thing to do by the developer.
