Product Description:

The LightScribe Labeler application provides user with ability to produce quality label images on LightScribe capable CD and DVD media.

What's new in this version:

Updates the application for new features - among which localized versions in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese - and fixes several bugs (more details in the “read me� file). The original application must already be installed in the Applications folder of your active system drive. Use the application installer that comes on the Software CD for your drive, if not already installed. Restart, then run the Updater application to update to version 1.0.3.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.4 PPC
  • Mac OS X 10.3.9
  • Mac OS X 10.3

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.3.2 or newer, including 10.4.x
    LaCie LightScribe capable DVD/CD drive
    LaCie LightScribe Labeler V1.0 must already be installed

I just bought a Lacie lightscribe firewire drive on ebay for 40 bucks and am happily burning beautiful labels with the software that i downloaded. Thank you Lacie for giving it away, my drive came without it. I don't know why it does not work for others, it works great on my new iMac

You can download the Lightscribe labeler 1.2 for osx here.
It is not an update but the full version !!! Enjoy.

Just bought a Lightscribe Lacie D2 Drive and can't print the labels because the labeler won't work! I called Lacie Tech Support, and they basically told me I'm SOOL and I'm going to have to wait till they release a bug release. How about maybe putting that in their advertising for the drives. "Lightscribe for Mac without the Lightscribe labeling!"
