Product Description:
The LightScribe Labeler updater and application provides users with the ability to produce quality label images on LightScribe capable CD and DVD media. There are now two ways to get the latest version:
- An Updater for existing users
- A complete installer for any user
What's new in this version:
LaCie LightScribe Labeler 1.2 adds several new features and capabilities:
- it is now a Universal binary for PowerPC and Intel based Macintosh computers
- multi-drive LightScribe printing: now you can print the same design on multiple LightScribe CD or DVD discs at the same time, using several LightScribe drives connected to your Macintosh computer
- localized versions in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese
- minor bugs fixed (more details in the "read me" file
Operating System Requirements:
This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:
- Mac OS X 10.4 Intel
- Mac OS X 10.4 PPC
- Mac OS X 10.3.9
Additional Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.3.9 or newer, including 10.4.x
- LaCie LightScribe capable DVD/CD drive
To use the Updater, LaCie LightScribe Labeler must already be installed in the Applications folder of your active system startup drive. If not already installed, download and install the complete application Installer.
Please make sure that you update your LightScribe host software to 1.4.105.1. before installing the LaCie LightScribe Labeler Updater or the full application.

I just bought a Lacie lightscribe firewire drive on ebay for 40 bucks and am happily burning beautiful labels with the software that i downloaded. Thank you Lacie for giving it away, my drive came without it. I don't know why it does not work for others, it works great on my new iMac

It is not an update but the full version !!! Enjoy.

Just bought a Lightscribe Lacie D2 Drive and can't print the labels because the labeler won't work! I called Lacie Tech Support, and they basically told me I'm SOOL and I'm going to have to wait till they release a bug release. How about maybe putting that in their advertising for the drives. "Lightscribe for Mac without the Lightscribe labeling!"
