Widget Manager ReviewSeems simple to me! - Version: 1.3.1, 10/10/2006 04:55AM PST

Seems simple to me! Download, double click, accept the install, voila a list of my widgets that I can enable, disable and delete plus location data. Pretty simple. Perhaps some other features would be nice if I could think of any?!

Widget Manager Troubleshooting ReportInstallation tricky - Version: 1.2.0, 3/21/2006 01:04AM PST

Do NOT use VersionTracker Pro to install this version. It links to an unusable text file. Use the Download button up here and read the ReadMe file. Upgrading requires that you remove the old pref pane first (right-click on it).

Widget Manager Review1.1.1 fixes the bug in Tiger - Version: 1.1.1, 7/13/2005 05:17AM PST

This version fixes the bug that would grey-out (and otherwise kill) widgets that had been disabled. After I installed the latest version, all my previous disabled widgets were once again accessible.
Apple has just released their widget manager. It will be interesting to see how the two compare to each other.

Widget Manager Troubleshooting ReportEnabling? - Version: 1.1.0, 6/30/2005 05:12AM PST

Once the 'Widget' has been disabled, it's gone (under OS X 10.4.1).
Trying to 're-enable' it, appears to be impossible.

Widget Manager CommentaryDoes not work in 10.4.1 - Version: 1.1.0, 6/26/2005 09:41AM PST

It worked fine in 10.4.0 but since upgrading to 10.4.1 the whole interface is grayed out. You cannot disable a widget or move one to trash.

Widget Manager CommentaryAdditional Idea - Version: 1.1.0, 6/3/2005 12:29PM PST

How about widget presets like the way extentions were handled in os9. This could allow users to have different sets of widgets show up depending on whether or not the computer is connected to the net or plugged into the wall, etc. with a menu selection.
