This is perhaps the perfect widget for those of us who work in an office without a window. I keep mine right next to Apple's Weather widget to get a picture of what I can expect on the commute home from work.
One gripe about the 2.6 release. The flashing red in the title area is *very* distracting for webcams that refresh faster than, say, 30 seconds or so. It's also unnecessary for many cams which include a time stamp in the image itself. In general, this kind of thing should be an option that can be switched off. I realize that I can turn off the caption entirely, but then I don't have the captions, which I like! Until this feature becomes an option I'm sticking with release 2.5, bugs and all.

Works well with the one ocean web cam I use, no problems here. Thanks!
And I don't know why the sloth exactly, but I like it. (Viva la slotholucion!)
