This little thing does exactly what I need. I can open PDF files directly with TextEdit and paste the text into Word, and there I go to edit and format. It is better than the two other commercial ones that I have tried.

The title says it all.
If this "service" does anything. it doesn't do it in MS Office 2004 (Mac OSX).
