Unexpectedly Quits when trying to add ports! - Version: 2.2, 9/20/2008 10:40AM PST

I am trying to add, edit delete ports and sometimes stop temporarily the firewall and it suddenly quits. Very buggy, For example if I click the stop button it quits, if I want to allow or deny any port it quits saying "There was an unexpected error setting up the firewall DoorStop X cannot operate."(5364)I does quit but it changes the configuration which I don't know if it's working or not. I like the fact that you can assign custom icons to the different port configurations, the interface is very simple but again this unexpected quits are really not acceptable for the price.
DoorStop X 2.2 breaks Skype if using Leopard

The upgrade from v2.0 to v2.2 was quick and painless and everything but Skype seems to work fine with the DoorStop X software firewall installed.
Could the developer, or someone else with more networking smarts than me, describe how to get Skype to work with DoorStop X and Leopard, please?
Some background at the following URL. Similar problem exists when using Skype 2.7.0.49 with the Leopard firewall turned on.
