Maybe I expect more from this then I'm supposed to... I know where road costruction is planned. I can read that in the newspaper... What I expected, and what I don't receive, is any indication of things like, truck rollovers & lane closures, disabled motorists, etc. I have had cellphone conversations with motorists at a dead stop on I-93 for more than 10 minutes, with no indication of any problem via this widget. Whassup? If it can't give me that, Smarttraveler is only one more click away, and they got it.

I gave 2 stars to version 1.0, but based on other reviews, I tried v1.0.1. It really works now. It updates itself every 5-10 minutes, it has a scrollbar, and it does what you think it does.
If the developer reads this, I'd like to offer some suggestions for future versions:
- Let us choose a particular highway to monitor instead of all roads within 4-40 miles
- Tie into one of those databases that provides estimated traffic speeds down particular highways
But as it is, this widget is useful.

...from Yahoo Traffic to Yahoo Google. Still calls itself Traffic, but has Google logo and functions like Yahoo Google when launched.
