Master of Orion III ReviewLike watching laundary..... - Version: 1.2.5, 8/23/2004 05:58AM PST

This game is about as much fun as watching your
laundary go around in the washing machine. I kept
thinking that if I just played it a little more maybe it'd
click for me. I'm embarassed to say now how many hours
I sunk into this game before I finally acknowledged that it
just isn't any fun and deleted it off of my hard drive.

It sounds promising. I love games like Spaceward Ho,
and Civilization, games that are in the same overall genre.
This game just doesn't deliver. It isn't playable. There is
no discernable relationship between the things you do and
the outcomes of the game. The interface is confusing, and
clunky, and most of the time there is nothing whasoever
for you to do except hit the next turn button and see what
happens.

In case I haven't been clear, this game is AWFUL. It's the only
game I've ever had that I got zero enjoyment out of .
I'm warning you, stay away!

Master of Orion III ReviewVery awful game - Version: 1.2.5, 1/19/2004 12:00PM PST

Confusing, clumsy interface, especially the horrid space-battle system is bad. A manual that leaves you guessing, graphics from the 80's (and I don't mean that in a cosy-retro-graphics kind of way), all kinds ofpointless things to do in this game but nothing remotely like the "unequaled adventures" promised by MacSoft, that slogan is the most hilarious thing about this whole game, but I don't really know wether it makes me laugh or cry. Anyway I will regret having paid for this till the end of my days... Be very warned.

P.S. I really liked the music! Believe me I tried to make this thing work, but in the end the music was all that was left for me.
