Product Description:

Baseball Statbook allows you to keep track of baseball or softball statistics. The program was originally developed to take the statistics from a little league game scorebook and enter them into an application so that overall hitting and pitching statistics could easily be generated. It is quickly evolving into much more.

Baseball Statbook could be used for Pony League baseball and softball as well as any other leagues (High School, Club Teams, etc).

Features Include

Tracks over 40 hitting and pitching statistics (more can be added on request!)
Ability to create Web Reports and Print the following (with more reports to be added in the future):
- Overall Hitting Statistics
- Overall Pitching Statistics
- Results
- Box Scores (Batting, Pitching)
- Individual Player Stats (Game-by-game, Overall)
Ability to save reports to a tab-delimited text file (for easy importing into Excel, for example)
Customizable Reports
- Re-ordering of Report fields (done by selecting and dragging the field to a new position)
- Ability to show or not show selected fields
- Editable Report and Fields name
- Additional Preferences for more control
Simple and intuitive interface for adding team, player and game information
Set batting orders for each game (select and drag)
Double-clicking on selected lists put you into editing mode

What's new in this version:

New Feature: Added ability to preview a selected Web Report from within application (Reports -> Web Reports -> Preview... menu item or Preview... button on the Statistics and Reports tab).
Bug Fix: Selecting Reports -> Web Reports -> Modify Styles... now works correctly (was causing application to quit unexpectedly).
Bug Fix: When games were already entered and then a player was added, the player would not show up in the batting statistics in most cases.
Bug Fix: (Windows and Linux versions only) The Edit -> Show Fonts menu item was not enabled when trying to edit a header or footer (Under the Print Options tab).

Our entire Little League used this program last year. It can do as much or as little as you like. Our team generated pretty thorough stats on each kid. The learning curve is gentle enough that even those who were hesitant to use the program came to rely on it.

On the downloads page there was a sample file to try out but the file expired for non-registered users. This file has been updated and now has 20 days before expiration.
