Product Description:

Baseball Statbook allows you to keep track of baseball or softball statistics. The program was originally developed to take the statistics from a little league game scorebook and enter them into an application so that overall hitting and pitching statistics could easily be generated. It is quickly evolving into much more.

Baseball Statbook could be used for Pony League baseball and softball as well as any other leagues (High School, Club Teams, etc).

Features Include

Tracks over 30 hitting and pitching statistics (more can be added on request!)
Ability to create Web Reports and Print the following (with more reports to be added in the future):
- Overall Hitting Statistics
- Overall Pitching Statistics
- Results
- Box Scores (Batting, Pitching)
Ability to save reports to a tab-delimited text file for easy importing into Excel, for example.
Customizable Reports
- Re-ordering of Report fields (simply by selecting and dragging the field to a new position)
- Ability to show or not show selected any field
- Editable Report and fields name
- Additional Preferences for more control
Simple and intuitive interface for adding team, player and game information
Set batting orders for each game (select and drag)
Double-clicking on selected lists put you into editing mode

What's new in this version:

ADD: About Menu is now available
ADD: Batting Safe On Error (SOE) statistic
ADD: Pitching Wild Pitches statistic
ADD: Ability to modify CSS Styles used when create Web files (You edit the file "Master_Styles.css" in the Statbook Files folder)
FIX: Sacrifices and Innings are now spelled correctly
CHG: Players who do not appear in at least one game will no longer show up on appropriate reports
ADD: The Player Stats Report popup menu sort order (players names) is now based on the Team Roster Sort (Team & Roster Input tab). Previous releases sorted this based on the order they were added to the roster. To sort the Team roster simply click on the column to sort.
CHG: Report Options tab window now expanded header fields as the window resizes
FIX: (Cosmetic) On Preferences tab, "calculation" text is no longer cut off (Mac only)

Our entire Little League used this program last year. It can do as much or as little as you like. Our team generated pretty thorough stats on each kid. The learning curve is gentle enough that even those who were hesitant to use the program came to rely on it.

On the downloads page there was a sample file to try out but the file expired for non-registered users. This file has been updated and now has 20 days before expiration.
