Product Description:

Statbook allows you to keep track of baseball or softball statistics, and now, with version 3.1, basketball and soccer, all for the same low price of $20. Easily enter statistics and then customize reports and create an entire website with the click of a button.

The program was originally developed to take the statistics from a little league game scorebook and enter them into an application so that overall hitting and pitching statistics could easily be generated. It is quickly evolving into much more.

Statbook is ideal for Pony League and Little League baseball/ softball as well as any other baseball, softball, basketball or soccer teams (High School, Club, etc).

Features Include

  • Each module (Baseball, Basketball, Soccer) comes with over 30 built-in statistics
  • Add unlimited number of custom statistics
  • Ability to create entire website files with the click of a button (to be loaded on your server)
  • Highly Customizable Reports
    • Re-ordering of Report fields (done by selecting and dragging the field to a new position)
    • Ability to show or not show selected fields
    • Editable Report and Fields name
    • Additional Preferences for more control
  • Ability to save reports to a tab-delimited text file (for easy importing into Excel, for example)
  • Simple and intuitive interface for adding team, player and game information
  • Modify input lists to suit your needs (Re-order, hide/show fields, add new fields, etc)

What's new in this version:

  • Added numerous "Favorites" (for IP, ERA, WHIP) to allow .1 and .2 for partial innings pitched (See the Help Videos page to learn how to use "dot notation" for stat inputs and on reports). The ability to use decimal values (i.e. .33 and .67) is still available and has remained the default.
  • Updated links to point to statbook.pachysoft.com instead of baseballstatbook.com.

Statbook ReviewWorks Great - Version: 3.1.2, 2/27/2009 01:32PM PST

Our entire Little League used this program last year. It can do as much or as little as you like. Our team generated pretty thorough stats on each kid. The learning curve is gentle enough that even those who were hesitant to use the program came to rely on it.

On the downloads page there was a sample file to try out but the file expired for non-registered users. This file has been updated and now has 20 days before expiration.

Finally! A baseball/softball statistics applications for the Mac! The only other programs I've been able to find cost a lot of money and are so complex, they are difficult to use! This applciation is easy to use and covers the basics which is all I need. Thanks for providing this tools for the Mac.
