Product Description:

This is an USB driver for MacOS X to connect Handheld devices like the Sharp Zaurus or OpenMoko to MacOS X 10.4 or later as an IP device via the USB cable.

This allows to use telnet, ssh, SMB etc. to access the Zaurus. It was originally developed by Andreas Junghans for OS X 10.1 to 10.3: http://www.lucid-cake.net/osx_zaurus_usb/index_en.html

Currently, the following devices are supported:

  • Yopy
  • Zaurus A-300
  • Zaurus B-500
  • Zaurus SL-5x00
  • Zaurus SL-C7x0, C860
  • Zaurus C-1000, C3000, C3100, C3200
  • HP iPAQ H38xx
  • Acer n30 with "Letux" Linux
  • Motorola A780 and Ming (not tested)
  • OpenMoko Neo1973

What's new in this version:

  • added OpenMoko support
  • solved issue with multiple interfaces being created each time an OpenMoko or Letux device was rebooted
  • now supports operation of multiple devices (of different brand, e.g. Sharp Zaurus + OpenMoko) in parallel
