"You had me at SUB-Folders!"

Thank you! Your product is fast and simple and gave me the "peek inside, inside, inside" I needed!
Sweet JezzusMarynJosef!!! ...Apparently it's too much to ask other media browsers to <b>just "SHOW ME the PICTURES!"</b> (Hmmm, another Jerry McGuire reference.)
But not this one! Phoenix Slides does exactly what it says it does, point it to the picture folders and it chews through every stinking sub-folder to layout a preview of your image.
The scale up works faster than Bridge or iPhoto, and the Reveal in Finder sealed the deal.
Not fancy, but fast and easy.
The only thing I might suggest is a right-click option on an image to "Open with..." but don't do it if it slows the app down.

Sounds like a great program, but for those of us who do like and use iPhoto but might be in search of alternative slideshow software, does this app recognize iPhoto libraries and the albums within like a lot of other apps do? Would be a great and easy feature to add if not.
Fast, simple, exellent

talk about ease of use! I was viewing and manipulating skides right from the get go. It took me a few seconds to realize this was an app that found my pics and allowed me to view them.
this will definitely help organize and create shows and delete the bad pics.
kudos to developer.
couldn't be simpler or more effective

I came on this following the link from a recommendation to another Mac user in the Mac Tiger forums. Brilliant application, makes the handling of the umpteen photos I have in sundry folders on my hard disk, very easy indeed. Feel completely in control of them now. Thanks!
Fantastic

My 17,000 photos are organised in nested folders by year, month, event, etc. Most of them were scanned in 2004, so having them "organised" by iPhoto was a total disaster and completely unuseable.
Phoenix shows the directory structure perfectly, and having them display full screen one by one or as manual or timed slide shows is just perfect. The ability to play a slide show including subdirectories is just brilliant.
Well done, and thank you for a very professional piece of software.

Phoenix Slides does what it says on the box without fuss and bloat and has basically saved the day. My new workflow is DateTree > PhoenixSlides > PSD. And once again iPhoto can kiss my squirrel!!
Huge thanks to the developer, well may you prosper! *applauds*
