Still not a very good widget

First, it uses the Aqua UI, all the way down to buttons that don't work. Second, there's no navigation AFAICT, so if you want to view comics other than the latest comic, well, sorry. Third, it contains an E-Mail link on the front of the widget, whereas Apple's design guidelines say those things must be on the backside. Fourth, you can't view the comic's title. This widget needs a complete overhaul.

Apple has included out-of-the-box support for .zip files ever since OSX Panther was released a year and a half ago. (BOMArchiveHelper). This is probably because they've decided they want to integrate yet another standard file format into the Mac experience rather than relying on another company's propietary format (Stuffit). In fact, the default installation of Tiger doesn't even include stuffit expander (available as an option). So if there's any compression format that's most compatibly with Tiger it's gotta be .zip. (Or compressed .dmg Disk Images)

Penny Arcade is a gamer's web comic. If you aren't part of the gaming scene (consoles, MMORPGs, etc.) you won't really get some of the jokes in this comic.
It doesn't let you choose from a variety of web comics, just its own title.
The author could have made this less of a dashboard space waster by making it have a view where just one panel (say the first) of the comic is shown and you can page through the panels, therefore saving space.
As it stands now, you may as well open Penny Arcade's web site in Safari. It'll not take up all that dashboard space when you view it that way.
