Your Dashboard isn't complete without the VersionTracker Widget. Get the most out of Tiger (OS X 10.4) and track the latest widget and software updates from your desktop.
Filter the VersionTracker Widget by platform and category. Open additional instances to track multiple categories at once, for example the audio and widget categories.
VersionTracker Pro Subscribers- Login for more features including: spotlight search, the ability to choose from different content modules and more.

What's new in this version:
- Displays the latest software updates, view 5 or 10 at a time
- Each update shows the product name, short description and star rating
- Specify the platform you want to track
- Specify the category you want to track, including the “widget� category
- Pro users- features include spotlight search and access to additional lists including Top Downloads, Editors' Picks, and MacFixIt Late-Breakers

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:
- Mac OS X 10.4 Intel
- Mac OS X 10.4 PPC
Additional Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.4, Tiger Compatible
- Pro users must be logged in with Safari browser (even if your default browser is different) to use the advanced Pro features
If you're using Safari, when the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you're using a browser other than Safari, when the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.

I can't seem to get it to recognize my Pro account, no matter how much I click "User login" then "reload preferences." Nothing happens, and I don't get a search bar. Help?

Downloaded it. It asked if I wanted to install. Installed it and it works fine in my Dashboard.

This doesn't work at all. A message says file can't be opened, truncated, corrupt, or some other problem.
VTP still incapable of retaining my password in Preferences. Must enter it every time I wish to run VTP.
