Product Description:

Some applications bloat the size of a file unnecessarily by adding all sorts of doubtful extra material into the resource forks of their data files. These extra items that are added are no doubt there for a reason and are most likely very useful. However, for people with small hard drives this can result in what little space is available being quickly consumed. Files and folders can be dropped onto the application icon and the resource fork will be removed.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.4 PPC
  • Mac OS X 10.3.9
  • Mac OS X 10.3

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.3 or higher

Drag N Clean Review"if you lack a brain" - Version: 1.0.3, 11/4/2005 03:11PM PST

sporobolus
starts with vapid description of resource forks as "doubtful extra material", then the built-in help says "If you lack a brain then you should not be using this software." those with a brain can do this with a few lines of AppleScript, in the shell, or with free tools; look at this hint on Mac OS X HInts for more info

Get a bigger HD or two. You can find them cheap on ebay. You can get two 80GB Maxtor's for less then 100.00. Then you can back up your master HD to your slave HD and you don't have to hack the crap out of your applications.
