Product Description:

A tool which we used for publishing images to the web which we have decided to release. It allows a resizing slider or direct manipulation of the dimensions of the image. That change is quick and the aspect ratio is always preserved. Additionally, it creates the XHTML img tag which describes the image.

The source is provided under the MIT license.

What's new in this version:

Support for JPEG, GIF, and TIFF.

Other applications to do the job are BatchResize'em and ResizeIt.

I don't like the "spring-loaded" slider control which returns to the centre position each time you move it. I'd prefer to enlarge or reduce images with one smooth scaling action. (Could be a preference to add.) I also don't like the way it only saves images as .png which have a larger file size than the original large .jpgs I've been reducing. HTML tage feature is useful though.
