A program I had been looking for.

Several years ago, I was trying to learn Swedish. I was trying to find a program for the Mac that would help and could find nothing that did what I wanted a program to do until ProVoc. I am now using it to study Spanish. ProVoc can be used for other word studies, I also used it to drill me on medical terms.
Brilliant idea but how to display Unicode fonts properly? - Version: 4.2, 1/16/2007 08:11AM PST

This could be just the program I need to finally learn the Asian language I have been working with for some years. But I cannot get it to display the font properly, in fact sometimes it looks so bad it is impossible to make out the word at all, looking like a mass of jumbled letters. If it were not for that, I would give ProVoc top marks for concept and ease of use, and as for price, what can one say? It's free!
Of course, if you are learning a language with a Latin alphabet, you are on to a winner.

hope that's not one of these demos that prompts you to pay after 30days of use ;)
Now I only have to find out how to use it on my iPod
