Product Description:

HeavyMail takes the headache out of sending big file attachments and keeps all your communications completely confidential. Use it as e-mail, and send files or folders full of files up to 2GB, all encrypted with 128bit AES.

Unlike online file-transfer services, HeavyMail sends the files directly to your recipient's inbox, instead of sending a link that your recipient must follow to download the files.

HeavyMail also has delivery notification, alerting you that your recipient has received your files.

What's new in this version:

  • Addressed a bug with sending files containing classic mac resource forks
  • Added error checking/user feedback for unpackaging HeavyMail

looks cool. but despite the see-site-for-pricing-info notice here, i can't find a price listing or schedule anywhere on the developer's site, apart from a statement that the company is now offering a free trial of the app. this marketing approach doesn't work for me.

HeavyMail is awesome! I've been using it for a long time now, mostly for all my clien't who can't seem to get the hang of ftp. It makes transferring large files so much easier.

I saw that someone compared HeavyMail to yousendit.com. It's NOT really the same. HeavyMail securily sends your files directly to your recipient. Yousendit emails a link to your recipient and they go download the files, and I don't think yousentit is secure. Also, another huge feature if HeavyMail is delivery notification. You always know that your recipient has received the files.
