Greetings
Installed NetCheck on MAC OS X Ver 10.4.5 configured about 25 Servers in the ICMP Monitor and About a 100 Ports in the port monitoring.
Tested servers when closing apps or crashing apps that use ports.
Set up the E_mail Client and NetCheck will E_Mail me when a port fails or a server fail over email . Great job on this Application
We are a Community college in houston Texas
Note : Developer is reachable true E-Mail and responds quick to issues we had with the licencing for this product.
Thanks again for such a great utility App We purchased two copies

I currently use NetCheck to monitor devices and applications all across the world. For those of us that need to know when an outage occurs and be able to review outage history during certain time periods or for certain sites, it works great. I'm constantly parsing/filtering the log (which currently contains over 1000 events) and then generating a report which I have to forward to other support staff or management. I like the fact that NetCheck gives you the ability to email to NetCheck groups or specific email addresses directly from the report resorts.
NetCheck takes considerable screen real-estate so some of the options could be put in a Preferences window but otherwise, works great.
I simply configured the Mail settings and added mail groups, then added my devices and customized them, then I enabled the device entry and enabled Monitoring and clicked on the Cron Setup tab. All worked fine.

I've revisited this useful tool with a view to implementing it on newly migrated servers. Sorry to say that it's broken under Leopard. Specifically, it fails to work when running on a PowerPc based machine running Leopard Server 10.5.1. Looks, from a cursory glance at the Crash Log that the GUI application has problems so I doubt whether the Hound Binary had been called when the crahs occurred.
