Product Description:

Sometimes you want to email your friends pictures, post images on your website, or upload them to your iPod. In all cases, the images are too big. You need to reduce them, but resizing and renaming images takes too long. Why spend valuable time altering each image by hand?

Use Sizerox to resize and rename hundreds or thousands of images with a single "Drag and Drop".
  • Sizerox is an application that resizes your "JPEG", "TIFF" or "PNG" images and saves them as "JPEG". You can easily resize and rename your images from your digital camera or scanner to send them with e-mails, to use them on the web or to upload them to your iPod.
  • Sizerox uses Apple Quicktime to save the resized images, so the quality of the resized images is always high.
  • Sizerox supports "Drag and Drop". Why navigate through all your folders on your hard disk? Drop as many image files as you want or a folder that contains hundreds or thousands of images to the main window as well as to the application icon to resize the images. You don't need anymore to alter each image by hand.
  • When you drop images on the Sizerox application icon, Sizerox will start up and will immediately begin the job. If the checkbox "Quit after Job" is checked in the preferences, Sizerox will quit automatically after the job is finished.
  • You can use the powerful Renamer engine to rename the images while resizing them.
  • Setting up a Watermark will ensure the security of your images.

What's new in this version:

  • Added the ability to select the color of the watermark.
  • The status of proportional checkbox will be saved now.
  • Minor changes.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.4 PPC
  • Mac OS X 10.3.9

Great update guys.

Whether you work for a company, or just spend a couple of hours online every day, sizerox is a tool that should not miss from your Mac.

Its purpose is to save you time by automating the common simple or even more complex tasks that you have to do in your everyday work.

All you have to do to make the daily routine easier and faster is just to use Sizerox for your task and using the presets.
For more complex ones Sizerox offers the possibility to resize, rename, crop rotate and watermark your images and automate any batch process.

Sizerox comes with a simple and very intuitive interface. You can very easily begin your task by dropping images into the main window.

It has many features specially designed to allow you to customize any task step you want to create. Just work with the presets.

Sizerox CommentaryDoesn't work for me either - Version: 1.2.9, 9/5/2008 02:25AM PST

Just attempted to use the app. Tried it out with just one photo, having set up defaults to match my needs. Everything works fine until you hit the resize button. The App throws up a white rectangle - no bounding box just obliterates an area of the screen (suspect it's showing a progress dialog or similar). Finder shows the app as unresponsive. Force quit.

Looks workmanlike and had it worked I would have been posting suggestions for improvement/enhancement.

Machine used was an ice generation iMac (Intel based), totally up to date on all Mac OS updates as of today (5th Sept 2008)

I love the design and features BUT when I drop a photo on it everything STOPS. If I click on the resize button a large empty window appears. Force Quit confirms it is unresponsive.
