I'm dropping this review to thank the author of this gorgeous application. SmartBackup is not simply the best backup application around but is supported by a very responsive and courteous developer who solved my issue in a matter of minutes. The program is fast, stable and simple to use and yet powerful enough to meet the needs of the most demanding users. I use Super Duper, which has just been updated to Leopard. I'm sure this app is also good. Make sure you use SOMETHING. I lost all my data once. It cost me weeks of effort to get back to near where I was before my disk crashed.

A comprehensive, value-laden application at a bargain price. I have owned many a backup application (I still own Retrospect), but this little jewel is the easiest to setup and use on a daily basis for my personal Mac.
