Product Description:

If you take your laptop back and forth to work (or anywhere else), you may find that, depending where you are, you want certain volumes to mount and certain applications to launch. Home and Away can automate this task for you by allowing you to set up different networks. The network you are connected to will determine which volumes are mounted and which applications are launched. Even if you donￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢt have a laptop, Home and Away can still provide an easy way to mount volumes and launch several applications on login.

What's new in this version:

[bug] No longer crashes when removing a volume from the volumes list.

thanks! been using this to mount my webdav volume after a 7 second delay after bootup on my wireless network; and it works perfectly!!!! thanks!! This is the only program that has successfully done this properly! automountmaker didn't work for me! :(

didn't work with airport - Version: 1.1, 6/8/2005 03:54PM PST

Tried to use it with an airport network but it didn't work (when I pressed "test" it indicated the connection did not work). From the instructions, it sounds like it needs a regular ethernet connection.

I've tried all of the automounting utilities on VersionTracker and this is my favorite. It's elegant in its simplicity and it simply works. Some minor bugs include occasional exceptions when trying to delete a volume from the mount list. Fully configurable based on network IP. Being new to the MAC from a Windows environment, this is a great productivity tool for me. Thank you!
