Product Description:

Cepstral Swift is a Text-to-Speech engine for Mac OS X. The software integrates fully with the Apple Speech Manager allowing messages and text to be vocalized.

Cepstral offers 24 voices in 6 languages. The voices provide a unique interface enhancement for education, entertainment, assistive, telephony, and personal applications. The voices are free to try and are $30 to purchase.

Now that the developer is going back to fix the recent download that disabled our Cepstral Voices, can they also tell us what is new with 5.1???

In fact v5.1.0 installation remove the prefPane and the Swift Synthetizer as I experienced .... To fix this problem I removed all traces of cepstral voices, PrefPane and synth then I reinstalled v5.0.0 completely then I extracted the voices from the installation packages of v5.1.0 and replaced the voices manually at this location.

/Library/Speech/Voices ...

All seem to works fine now

Don't forget to trash all cepstral receipts from /Library/Receipts/ ... othervise you will not be allowed to reinstall v 5.0.0
