Baywatch Troubleshooting ReportFirefox 3 Problems - Version: 1.5.1, 12/8/2008 04:32AM PST

dao2
Perhaps previous users got it to work in Forefox 2, but in my Firefox 3.

It just keeps giving error code 4 : Problem parsing eBay code. But it works fine in my Safari 3.2.1

Any ideas ?

Dao
PS: Otherwise, a great, simple bit of kit. Please make it work. Please !!!

It seems to be broken in Safari 3... also Firefox. Am I the only one experiencing this? Please release this great app as UB and include auto updates via the Sparkle Framework (http://sparkle.andymatuschak.org/)

Great application, but:

Localisation problem,

when you are on internet pages others than www.ebay.com, like www.ebay.fr, www.ebay.de it will tell you: "Baywatch can't find an ebay auction in your front most browser window," .

Work around: switch to www.ebay.com, look at a item, launch baywatch, and keep running baywatch.
Now you can switch back to your preferred localisation of ebay. baywatch will follow you ....

Excellent little ap. I'm watching almost a dozen auctions today, and this helps me keep track of when they are all ending. Many thanks to the developer!

Baywatch CommentaryDoesn't work with Camino - Version: 1.0, 2/6/2006 02:22PM PST

Hi!

Great software. Since I prefer using Camino, unfortunately I can't use it.

Hopefully there will be a version that works with Camino also in the future. I'm looking forward to it. :-)

Best regards

Kai

Baywatch Troubleshooting ReportDoes Not Work With Safari - Version: 1.0b5, 10/16/2005 10:21AM PST

Why does your product seem to be working flawlessly with Firefox but cannot get it to work with Safari? It's no big deal since I can use either one but I prefer to use Safari because that's the way all my shorcut keys are set up.

Baywatch Troubleshooting ReportStopped working - Version: 1.0b3, 7/17/2005 11:39AM PST

When used, it always says "Baywatch can't find an ebay auction in your front most browser window," no matter what I do. I've logged out/in, rebooted -- you name it.

I recently did a software update (MacOS 10.4.2), but I cannot pinpoint the problem with that event.

Baywatch ReviewGreat Idea - Great App - Version: 1.0b3, 6/23/2005 04:48AM PST

I have used this app for over two month now and I think it became indispensable for me. I like the idea using iCal to keep track of my eBay auctions.
Especially because you now have a reliable alarm for your auction. It happens to often that ebay doesn´t send a reminder mail (or a "too late" one).

Great job. Thanks.

Baywatch Troubleshooting Reportinitial feedback - Version: 1.0b2, 3/26/2005 11:09AM PST

I just tried this program for the first time. First I opened Safari, and then I launched Baywatch. I get a dialogue each time asking me where firefox is.
Is this necessary? I just want to use it on Safari.

It says in the instructions <<You can display the eBay auction in your browser
by clicking the URL in the event information.
>> Could you specify what this means in English?

Do I have to have ical open all the time to receive the alarm notification? I usually keep ical unopen. Will the notification launch it automatically?

Is there a way to put baywatch in the apple menu? If so I would vote for a version that does this.

Can this program be configured to work in IE?
Thanks. Ellen
